I cleaned/painted an extra room (above the garage) to use as a bedroom and decided to get rid of the outlets to be converted to TR decor (burglar-resistant) children). This room also tends to cool down as it is above an unheated room and is open to the outside on all other sides (despite being insulated). When swapping out the outlets, I noticed that there is quite a bit of draft in the outlets, so I decided to insulate them. B&M stores seem to only sell isolating pads in packages that only contain (2) decorative pads, a couple of standard socket pads, and a couple of switch pads. So I would have to buy multiple packs to get the 8 I need. Also, they tend to be a fibrous material that doesn't separate well and the screw holes in the wall plate were never punched through! This made installation a huge pain. As for these, unless you use the entire rectangular cutout (decor), installation is an absolute dream, although it can be a little tricky. They *match* the wall plate and Decora socket. The only downside is that they seem a bit small, so they don't fit in the box; Can't tell if they're too small but they seem smaller than my B&Ms.
