It would be nice to have instructions on how to route the wires around the bracket on the transom before screwing them on and where to tighten the mounting bolts. Because of this I installed a mirror and blew the fuses because the wires were pinched and shorted. I removed the mirror, reconnected the wires and reinstalled the mirror and this time the wires got pinched and in fact all 5 wires broke. I ended up taking it off again, reconnecting the cables and finding out on the internet that there is a specific way to wrap the cable around the mount on the mirror before screwing it on. Another thing is that the mirror is excellent. Sturdy and sturdy, it has a large mirror on it.
