So these adhesive pads are great for my textured dashboard. This is not a problem. The problem is getting them ready to use as the red sticker cannot be peeled off without destroying the real pad. The only time I managed to peel it off (slightly damaging the pad) it also caused the pad to lose its adhesive properties. At any other time, the pad would stick to itself and become completely unusable. Here's what I did to use the pad and make it perfectly flat: 1. Remove the white cover.2. Carefully stick the panel to the dashboard with the side where the white cover was on (it is just as sticky as the red side).3. Run your fingers over the pad and make sure it is fully adhered to the dashboard.4. Leave it on for a few hours to ensure it adheres properly to the dashboard. Now try removing the red side, it should be a lot easier as it's already stuck to your dash so it's actually detaching the red side instead of sticking to itself. 6. Place the phone holder on the side you just opened. A NOTICE. This worked for me. I can't guarantee it will be for you!
