Review on Spectre Performance 98302 Round Cleaner by Michael Ringgold

Bought this air purifier and was very excited to try it. It then arrived via UPS. I opened the box and was surprised by a poorly riveted air cleaner assembly that had gaps of up to 1/4" in places and what I believe had a powder coating that was quite scratched and of pretty poor quality. what i expected. Okay I figured I could modify it and seal it (although I didn't have to as it's a new product) so I fitted it to my car. Edelbrock Thunder series with E-Choke disturbed by air filter. The only solution I can't think of is to fit a 3/4" washer to take it off the gas, but then it will likely interfere with the hood closing. Overall I wouldn't recommend this air filter unless you are willing to modify their new air filter or car, I could seriously make the exact same one in my garage in about half a day and it would fit and be of better quality than the standard device.
