This piece worked for what I needed but it really is intended to be an extension piece to be added to another set.
This is only a problem if you mind that there are four holes in the bar to allow for the connection. I was able to cover the holes up with the end cap hardware that comes with it, but on other projects I have built the customers wanted a clean look without the end caps.
