I've waited weeks to write a review to have a solid real world experience to share a review. The kit has everything a carver/beginner carver needs and is very easy to understand and use. They take care of safety, too, as the kit includes printed safety instructions and a roll of preventative tape (and band-aids). This is my completely new approach to removing a lot of material when roughing a new thread. It is very sharp and feels good in the hand. Combined with my previous purchase of their 3 knife planer/carving set, I feel ready to take on any project. I highly recommend it! Also, subscribing to the BeaverCraft newsletter and Instagram feed add to the experience. They share tutorial videos and project templates/templates. They really seem to develop personal relationships with their customers.
