Since the kit contained literally everything you need and more, it is of great value to give a gift to someone, and even to yourself. The wood was cut decently and very cleanly. Full disclosure, I received this kit as part of a promotion. However, I would like to sincerely recommend it. The set is incredibly complete for its price. Some reviewers feel it's missing a thing or two. that you could definitely "upgrade" things. but you get a lot for the price. My only real complaint is that there is so much stuff in the box that once you open it and look it is difficult to close it. I have been working with wood for almost 30 years. Wood carving is not a hobby for everyone.
