This socket extension fits into a good niche. I use it in my bedroom on an outlet next to my bed. I needed three outlets, so I was able to increase the number of outlets I had. I can also connect three USB devices to it. There is an on/off button for AC outputs and another on/off button for USB outputs (labeled DC). The USB ports (USB Type-A ports) can draw a total of 3.4A of current, so they support fast charging of one or two devices. However, all three sockets carry the same current. So if you plug in three different USB devices, they may not "fast charge". Can be installed flush with the wall I might take a second one with me to use when traveling as I usually run out of outlets when I travel.
