The cable received does not match the photo or the illustration on the box. In particular, there is no ferrite bead and the connectors are different. I suspect a scam as it only takes up a third of the box and the cable diameter is about a third smaller than the original Garmin cable I replaced. Although the "Garmin" name is printed on one end of the cable, it does not have the Garmin sticker that Garmin data cables typically have. At first I thought I confused the micro USB data capabilities with my previous mini USB data capabilities. But the Revain's packaging and photo are labeled "Micro USB Cable" and show a ferrite bead, a Garmin sticker, and differently shaped ends. Revain's site says it's a data cable. The Revain Prime representative readily agreed to refund the price and apologized for the potential issue with the supplier. However, save time and send back by avoiding the item (and possibly the supplier).
