A few design issues.

A few design issues. Bought a set of 4 to attach a 2x4 to my E-Track. They work, but if you're using them with standard 2x4 wheels then here are some things you need to know as I ran into a few design issues. Problem #1: I used ΒΌ" bolts to mount the 2x4 wheels. Insert 2x4 fully into bracket, mark and drill holes, insert 2x4 and ΒΌ" bolts and tighten. Brackets are wider than a standard 2x4 and when you tighten the bolts with standard nuts, the sides compress the lever and it sticks and won't move (see excess space, #2 in photo) I solved the problem by removing the standard nuts and using ΒΌ" locknuts to hold the nuts in place without fully tightening them ( see #3 in the photo).A shim is required if you don't want the 2x4 to move side to side in the bracket.Problem #2: The bracket doesn't give enough clearance for the latch. When I did the Wanting to insert brackets into the E-rail, there wasn't enough room to move the lever for the bracket to slide in (see #1 in the photo) I didn't want to keep pushing the 2x4 and drilling new holes n. I solved this problem by running a 1/2" wide, 1/4" deep channel through the bottom of the 2x4, leaving enough room for the lever when inserted into the E-rail (see # .4 in the photo). You can avoid this problem by not inserting the 2x4 all the way into the mount.
