Review on 🔊 Enhanced HK7 Complete Triple Train Horn System - Black by Kleinn Air Horns by John Taylor

I bought this system a few years ago and installed it myself. I had very limited wiring experience and it showed. The instructions weren't that great. I had to troubleshoot for a while before getting it to work properly. The instructions showed how to connect the compressor and then most of the parts, but they were separate instructions for each item. It would be better to have a guide and follow it step by step. Instead, the system wasn't complete after you followed all the instructions, and you had to guess a few things to make it work. I remember my local store charging $800 for the installation on top of the $800 price (I paid sales tax when I bought it locally). That's why I did it myself. Once this was all done I was very happy with the sound. My mechanic wasn't - he said it tripped on its own twice at his shop when no one was around when I left it there for a couple of days. I left this system in my suburb when I sold it, now I'm considering buying it again because it sounds great. My Silverado needs help - I was lifting a 10" truck and cars are being pulled in front of me every day. I honk and it sounds like a Hyundai. I gave it 4 stars because of the instructions. The system sounds great and lasted the year I had it. I mounted everything to the frame including the horns! The thing is so loud that you don't have to mount it from the front! Without the instructions I would have given 5 stars.
