They are easy to install and all I can say is wow

I bought these to replace the Firestone Ride Rite airbags I installed in December 2017. I've had airbags that helped me tow our 30ft (7,000lb) travel trailer about 6-8 times a year. The airbags worked well but needed constant maintenance to ensure they were at the minimum pressure per square inch when I wasn't towing. Since I wasn't towing all the time, the onboard air compressor didn't cost any money. The airbags didn't help the overall ride either. They supported the weight but generally didn't help. I recently noticed that the airbag bracket was loose. That was it, I removed the airbags and ordered SumoSprings. They were easy to install and all I can say is wow! They are amazing. I usually have a few hundred pounds in my truck (body, loading system and some other stuff) and the SumoSprimgs handle the weight really well and greatly improve the ride quality of my truck (2014 Silverado Crew Cab 4WD LTZ Z71 w/ Bilstein 5100). Crazy, they work better than airbags and require no maintenance. I highly recommend SumoSprings. Note: When unloaded, they increase rear ground clearance by approximately 1/2" to 3/4".

Pros
  • maintenance free
Cons
  • so so
