This Stant cap is a quality product. Stant is an old company from the USA that unfortunately has moved production to Mexico. I got this gas cap for my 1955 Chevy pickup and the gas cap is open so all I can do is look for chrome. Works well, just not pretty. As a side note, you don't turn it to the locking position, you just push it in, but it's secure. Highly recommended if your fountain pen is behind a taillight, license plate or gas flap.
