I saved time this winter. The plastic clip broke when I closed the door on it, but the lid still works without the plastic clip. It's great to just take it off, start the car and go. No need to wait for the car to warm up and the windshield to thaw. It doesn't easily fit back into the included lid. The case is practically unusable. Also, remember to put a large wet object in the car when you first take it out. As long as you're comfortable with it, this article is a winner. When I'm home I can put it out on the porch to dry. When I go somewhere it has to be in the trunk or in the back seat and it can be a bit messy. Still better than washing.
