Overall this is a decent hood, but a little pricey for what you get. Better field of view than my Lincoln/HF/or Kobalt. More convenient and easier. Scammers don't stay in place like others. Not sure if it's just mine or if they're all, but it goes through batteries like candy even when not in use - would be better (closer to cost = price) with a rechargeable battery pack or solar charger. Stock up on batteries and it will get the job done. Scratch resistance isn't scratch proof, so be careful how you put it down or plan to use lots of lens protectors.
