drive bought on sale from Revain, great discount. It went into the older but still very useful Gateway Core i7, 8GB RAM desktop used for CS4 programs, mostly Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Cloned a 290GB system drive and data from a 1TB 7200rpm Barracuda using the free version of EaseUs. The start time has been reduced from 3-5 minutes to around 30 seconds, and the program opening time has been shortened. This computer is almost 5 years old and could very well be used for another 5 years barring major failures. This is a better workstation than when new. Editing in Photoshop is faster than any hardware I've ever worked with. I have yet to render the video, but I expect it will be a third or less than in the past this time. I am very satisfied, this is my best purchase of computer gear in years.
