I knit a lot for charity. Since the recipients are unknown to me, I try to stick to neutral colors. There are many distinctly feminine quilts out there, but not many are made for men and boys. I think this color is suitable for both men and women. The same goes for Off-White and Hunter Green, both colors are available from this brand. This is the "real" worsted weight. It's a little rough while you work with it, but nothing too bad. After I complete a project, I soak it in a bucket with a couple cups of white vinegar and water overnight. Drain and wash with detergent on hot water setting. Dry with a softener cloth. It comes out nice and soft.
