Great yarn for crocheting

Great yarn for a coat that looks like it's made out of dragon skin. I only carry this brand and crochet weight.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Nice fit for a knitted poncho

Bought to knit a poncho for a relative and fits perfectly. There was more than enough - maybe enough for three! But no problems with knots or tears, easy to knit and looks great.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • embarrassing

Lot number varies (and noticeable)

This is a different lot number than what I originally ordered to start my project a few months ago. So now my comforter is 2/3 gray and the rest is a DIFFERENT darker shade of grey. I don't know how to find out the batch number but it was a big mistake. Buyer warning!

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Nothing

Just the right color and texture for my project!

I've always loved using Caron yarn in my amigurumi and this one is no exception. I wanted this for an elephant I made and it was perfect! Karon yarn may not be as soft as some yarns, but amigurumi is perfectly suitable for toys. Toys keep their shape, the fabric is even, does not stretch and does not leave gaps between the stitches after stuffing.

Pros
  • 100% Acrylic
Cons
  • No Instructions

An excellent yarn in its price range

I knit a lot for charity. Since the recipients are unknown to me, I try to stick to neutral colors. There are many distinctly feminine quilts out there, but not many are made for men and boys. I think this color is suitable for both men and women. The same goes for Off-White and Hunter Green, both colors are available from this brand. This is the "real" worsted weight. It's a little rough while you work with it, but nothing too bad. After I complete a project, I soak it in a bucket with a…

Pros
  • Caron One Pound Yarn is ideal for knitting and crocheting a variety of knitting and crochet projects such as accessories, clothing, home decor, baby and children's patterns.

Keep it easy on Knitting & Crochet

I have used Caron One Pound for many crochet projects. I found that the success of the project depends on the type of stitches and the size of the hook used. The tighter and more difficult the stitch, the stiffer and rougher this yarn will feel. The simpler and looser the stitch, the softer it feels and the better it drapes. Although this is a worsted yarn that requires a US H/8 (5mm) hook, I use 8mm, 10mm and 12mm hooks for some things. Of course, for most garments it is important that you…

Pros
  • Stitch Size: 4 - med Worsted
