First, I like her look

First, I like her look. beautiful and muscular. Second, their installation was very easy. It took me about 1 hour from opening the box to folding the tools. If someone wants to charge you for installing these things. better not more than 1 hour working time max. Remember, this is the very first time I installed it. These guys usually do this for a living. The brackets were bent when the rails arrived, but a quick hit with a 5lb hammer didn't fix anything. Which worries me a bit. If hitting it with a 5 pound hammer bends the brackets so easily, what actually causes it to hit a good sized rock? Will it really protect anything? No idea. In any case. The good news is that they are very easy to install. On the other hand, steps are talked about as if they're easy when you realize you need ground clearance in the bush. I want to say. I would NOT want to fight these bolts over and over again, especially after they weathered some of the weather. Plates with bolts are not so good. If they hadn't accidentally sent 2 extra I would be screwed as it's just small plates with nuts welded to one side and 2 plates, the welder actually blew the nut and messed up the threads. Again the point of being. I believe if. OR IF I have to remove those steps to increase ground clearance it's going to be something of a nightmare. and worse, you may need to figure out how to buy replacement plates with screws to reinstall after a fun day off-road. In a nutshell. These are great looking bars to mount on these awesome motor cars. (For the price) I just wouldn't put much faith in protection from a good solid ground or side impact. And besides, the main feature of their Rock Rail version is the ease of climbing and stair climbing, which is not as easy as they would like.
