Like many others, I work from home and spend more time than usual staring at a 15-inch MacBook Pro on a table that doesn't have the ideal height. The MBP is just enough for my eyes and neck to rest comfortably, with a good angle for the keyboard and trackpad. I like the roughly 2mm raise up front regardless of the hinge angle, as it forces me to put my weight more on your biceps than on your wrists (Disclaimer: I'm not an ergonomics expert, it's just more comfortable for me now.) It's solid aluminum, the hinge is well built. The wedge seems to act like a solid cooler at the bottom - or maybe it's just lifting the bottom off the wood table, but either way the car is definitely cooler.
