Our sludge came to the surface and smelled really bad. We thought we would have to replace the lines. I wanted to try this stuff. I shocked the system with a gallon every month for 2 months. I was really surprised when I opened the lid at how good it smelled lol. By the end of the first month I noticed that the sediment on the surface was starting to dry out and the odor was disappearing. In the 2nd month it got even better, everything dried up and the smell disappeared. After that I will be pouring half a gallon down a healthy septic system every month. Guys, this stuff works great, at least for me. It's better to spend a few thousand dollars on a new ancillary system.
