Comparison of AstroAI and EPAuto pumps.

I bought these two pumps in addition to the popular EPAuto so I can compare them. That's what I think. Advantages of AstroAI over EPAuto: 1) Slightly better build quality, although I believe both are made in China with similar designs 2) More info on the LCD. You can see both the target PSI and the current PSI3) Slightly quieter4) The plug fits the cigarette lighter a little better. The EPAuto connector is too tight, at least for my car 5) AstroAI looks better in my personal opinion 6) Improved switch design Cons for AstroAI compared to EPAuto: 1) Old price is a bit higher, although current promotion helps, Prices to lure line 2 ) Display not accurate Discussion: I really wish the AstroAI inflator would like it as it looks better and seems to have better build quality. Also, AstroAI actually sells tire pressure sensors that have excellent reviews and are said to be accurate. Although my copy of the EPAuto pump is pretty much up to date, I figured a company that made the sensors would do an even better job. Unfortunately, my copy of the AstroAI pump is consistently LESS by about 2.5-3psi. Why is it important? Because the company posted that the pump intentionally over pressurizes to allow leakage when you unscrew the tire connection. The fact that it is used in inflation implies even more contradiction. What is my measure of "correct" pressure? I measured the tire pressure with Accutire MS-4021B, JACO ElitePro and EPAuto pump. All three agree perfectly with a deviation of less than 0.5 psi. The AstroAI pump is highly asynchronous with other measurements. The two gauges I've used are both top notch and have an excellent reputation for accuracy. In the end I reluctantly decided to leave EPAuto as the accuracy of the sensor is important. I inflate my tires once a month and it's very convenient to just set the tire pressure to the target psi and have confidence that the pressure is correct. I understand that my AstroAI module may be defective and there are likely copying opportunities. It is possible that the EPAuto pump gauges are inaccurate as I only tested one sample.
