Review on Get Started with Osmo: The Ultimate Hands-On Learning Kit Included by Ted Higdem

I had high hopes for the game based on the many great reviews. However, my experience was very disappointing. Several technical issues continued to appear - 1) Avby was not responding to tiles; 2) Avby responded to tiles in the wrong direction; and 3) Avby answered before touching the screen to activate the moves. The troubleshooting steps included restarting the iPad, signing out and signing in to Osmo, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing the mirror, and making sure unused tiles aren't too close to the mirror. I contacted Osmo Technical Support and followed the troubleshooting steps, but the same issues persisted. I even sent two recorded videos of the bugs in action to Osmo, but tech support responded with a different set of steps so they could understand the underlying issue (as if the videos weren't good enough). This has become very frustrating, so I will be returning the product. The whole idea of coding is for my kid to learn the basic steps of coding, but it did more harm than good when the game didn't work properly.
