Review on Rust-Oleum 280882 Specialty Tub & Tile Spray Paint, 12 Oz, White by Dustin Miller

Good for touch up. for my opinion

I purchased this to do touch ups on my tile wall after painting it with Rust-Oleum tub and tile 2 part refinishing kit a few years ago. This paint is very thin and it will run, so apply many thin coats. I applied 6 very thin coats letting it dry about 30 minutes between coats. It matched the Rust-Oleum tub and tile perfectly and did exactly what I need it to do. I used about a half a can to touch up about 2 square feet. You would need many cans to do a whole tub and surrounding walls. I painted the tub and tile walls a couple of years ago with the two part epoxy product and it started to peel around the faucet. I only used the kit because this is a tub that is only used a few times a year. I don’t think it would hold up very long if the tub is used on a daily basis. You really can’t paint tile, no matter how well you prep the surface. I’m happy with the results.
