The product works well despite the very low price. I've used it on light hardwood. After using it on both ends of 4 boards I found the sharpness as well as the ease of pressing remain quite satisfactory. Enough that I can use it again the next day. Now burn out the words as well as wood chips along the path of the blades. When you buy cheap tools, they usually don't last long and don't work well even after several hours of continuous use. However, this is an exception. I am pleased! I am happy with this purchase and will buy again!
