I don't know why I chose this particular aftermarket part over the identical offerings from other sellers. only a good impression of the seller (although without objective data or personal knowledge of the seller). As far as I know all of these spare parts sold by many different companies are actually the same identical part and they are all made in the same factory somewhere in China. However, the one they sent me fitted perfectly without having to register attachment points like others have had to do (perhaps the manufacturers have corrected this slight inaccuracy). seems to work great too. Quick start on first try after installation. I played around with the tricky original part for quite a while before giving up and replacing it. This part is a replacement for a Denso 228000-9480 Combo Solenoid/Starter on my 2000 Sears mower with a 16.5hp Honda engine. GXV530 type EXA1. An OEM Honda replacement costs between $230 and $350.
