This is a good product for cleaning light stains from carpets, especially if used immediately after the stain has appeared, before it has had time to walk grasp. Copes well with mud stains on a light-colored carpet and handles a ball of wool (cat) stain adequately. It didn't do a good job on old stains, but it did seem to lighten them up a bit. The smell is pleasant and application is easy (spray, shake and dab). There's no list of ingredients on the bottle, which is odd - most cleaners make it clear what's in it and any potential problems that might arise. All it had was the usual "test in a hidden area" warning to make sure the carpet didn't fade, but nothing about the actual ingredients. The price is excellent for a ready-to-use carpet cleaner. Five stars for value; four stars for flare performance; Three stars for thorough stain removal. Overall rating 4 stars. It's not as effective as some of the other carpet cleaners I've used, but it works way better than I expected given the price.
