Useful for measuring thermal pad thickness

My use case for these calipers is kind of niche, I use them to measure thermal pad thickness. In computers, some components are covered with thermal pads to dissipate heat, but their thickness is not always well documented or known. I've used it to figure out how thick replacement thermal pads should be and so far it's proven very helpful. They behave like vernier calipers and come with a set of calipers and an extra battery.
