Ordered to fit a new Digital Tire Inflator (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PUTC0M) to ensure a better angle on the bike's valve stems. In short, it didn't perform the most basic function for which it was designed. It could not securely snap onto any of the five different valve stems I had attached it to and required positive back pressure (such as a non-locking ball chuck) to prevent air loss. Also when I managed to buckle it so it didn't hiss right away (don't move the hose at all or you'll lose the seal) as soon as I pulled the trigger on the inflator, the air pressure was halfway down and there was no air left in the tire . Compare this to the original open-flow straight chuck that was installed on this particular inflator, which securely snaps to the valve stem with no air loss, even if the hose is moved during operation. Additional Info: *The description is confusing as to whether it is an open or closed flow cartridge. To be clear, this is a CLOSED FLOW CARTRIDGE. Air will not escape from the chuck unless the pin inside engages the valve stem.* The description says "including chuck and chuck (threaded) in 1 pack." I wasn't interested in the threaded part, but just to be clear there is NO way to thread/thread this cartridge onto the valve stem. There is a knurled ring near the cartridge neck, but it does not move, and there is no thread in the valve stem hole. tl;dr: nonsense.
