Originally bought for private use. After using it and seeing how well it works, I decided to buy it for use at work. I work in a professional kitchen and a sharp knife is an essential part of my day. I can use it to sharpen a knife or repair a worn-out knife that is almost useless. This sharpener is perfect for the home, camping gear, or commercial kitchen. I've used more expensive sharpeners and this one competes with them and at this price point you just can't beat it. It's worth noting that the two I received were black and gray, not yellow as pictured. I didn't care and actually preferred the color I received.
