We use duct tape all the time. I've always used black. I ordered white because I was working on a window screen project and white would be less noticeable. They are also used in another project. I have found that white is nowhere near as strong and sticky as black. I know it's just a color difference, but there must be a difference in the way it's done. As soon as I unfolded it and was about to shoot the first piece, the tape split in half. Broke the middle. Leave me with two thinner strips. I canceled it and tried again, it just isn't the same. I love my gorilla but only in black. Will not order white anymore! stick with black. it's strong, heavy, sticky and does the job. I was a bit surprised that just the color difference actually made a difference in how the product worked! live and learn.
