My nephew somehow convinced me to buy him a snake and keep it at home (sister wouldn't let her). He promised to take care of her, but now I have a snake. Keeping the temperature under control was a constant challenge. I had their heating pad and timed lights, but in the fall and spring, with wide temperature swings, it was difficult to set and forget. It's perfect, it keeps the temperature more consistent and allows me not to keep checking. The instructions were terrible, not entirely clear, but I watched a YouTube video and was able to figure it out. The temperatures seem to be pretty accurate and the setup was pretty easy (according to the video). Costs money
