Review on Android Chevrolet Silverado Navigation Bluetooth by John Floyd

I installed this on a 2011 Silverado 1500 to replace a broken factory stereo. This device bolted right on and works incredibly well. I also installed all new door speakers and the sound is amazing. The 24-band equalizer really lets you customize your sound settings. I haven't used all the functions yet, but music on the radio sounds clear and MP3 playback from the USB stick works very well. I had no trouble signing into my Google account and downloading apps. It features 3 sets of pre-outs for use with amplifiers and video I/O for a rear view camera or other. The only real cons I've found so far are: 1. The screen goes blank with a message that no camera is connected when you put it in reverse. It would be nice to be able to disable this feature if you don't have a rear camera. 2. Doorbell/turn signal/warning speaker doesn't sound very good (I don't use it anymore). 3. The screen is very glossy and has a lot of glare during the day. I will install an anti-glare screen protector to reduce glare. Otherwise it's a great device!
