.I just ordered a second pair. I have a converted garage into an office/breakout room and there was a modem/router, too long story cut out, the modem had to come in the house. It's about 75 feet if I want to run the ethernet cable outside and the wifi can't get through the structure inside because of the soundproofing. The cable that I would have to bury and about 10 feet of concrete make this installation uninteresting and easy. I only heard about powerline technology about two weeks ago and decided to give it a try and see if I need to go digging. Lucky for me and especially for my back, I don't have to. Setup is the same as described by Plug N Play and it took maybe a minute to pair the connection. However, I had hiccups at first where it would disconnect and say no internet service was found, but it was intermittent and seemed to connect. I found out that computer antivirus and malware along with firewalls thought the connection was suspicious and must have blocked their pairing attempts or something. I was getting these typical cryptic error code problem descriptions and basically the box needs software and driver updates that haven't been used in about six months. Once everything was done in sequence, a more stable connection slowly developed and turned green after about an hour of all this fun. Zytels have higher capabilities than what I get from the modem. Service is 80 down and 20 up, and Zytels isn't steaming at all at the moment. I bought again (it's rare to say "has" instead of "will").
