Review on 🚲 Zefal No-Mud Universal 26-inch Wheel Mudguard - Perfect for Both Front and Rear! by Kyle Cross

Works well, looks good

The instructions are a bit short but again I don't see how I could do better. Another downside is that the Zefal's fins are a bit tapered towards the end, so they don't stop all the debris too well. A bit short for a 26 inch tire. I suspect this thing is a better fit for the smaller rear tires. About 22 inches. I will say that I am satisfied in general, although it is well built and different from the pole mounted one. Fenders, you don't have to worry so much about bumping and breaking your foot or hurting your leg when trying to get on or off your bike. UPDATE: zefal's rear fender broke after jumping out of a corner. The problem is that on a full suspension bike, the ends don't really hold together except for the tire stay. This means that a hard landing on the rear wheel can create torque/vibration which, if the Zefal is close enough to the rear, can cause it to break. The zefal device also increases my bike's drag (my experience). If speed is what you're looking for, this probably isn't your fender. I cannot recommend this for serious full suspension riders. Random racers maybe. If you have a hardtail, this might be fine. For a bike with 26 inch tires, the coverage is still only 90-95%. You will get some dirt on your back. Some people want at least 99%, which you can probably achieve with other designs. I probably won't order it as a rear fender again. Like the front fender, although it proved sufficient. Here, too, only about 90% of the dirt is removed. There's something else that can rise up and hit the bottom of your bike. I give it 3 stars instead of 4. Looks good. If they made the design a bit bigger so it covers more area I might give it 4 stars. Although bikes with suspension. Seatpost mounted fenders tend to hit the full suspension rear tire hard and end up in the top position. Not to mention that sometimes your foot will hit the rear fender if it's set too high, which can damage it. Maybe I'll try a mudflap next time, even if it's expensive.
