A few weeks after my fender was installed, it broke off completely after hitting a small bump on my commute. In the same way I mounted the front and rear fenders. The rear fender still holds, so it's not a problem with the wrong installation. I am disappointed with the assembly and quality control of this item. No language, just clear drawings and a table in both standard and metric format to determine which parts to use for your fork or frame diameter. My seat post serves this purpose for the rear wheel. The instructions are a bit short but again I don't see how I could do better. Another downside is that the Zefal's fins are a bit tapered towards the end, so they don't stop all the debris too well.
