Great product, well made and durable. The type of plastic used in this protector will last a long time considering how it is used and maintained. The mechanical assembly of fenders differs from many bicycle products that everyday, mountain bike and road cyclists are used to, but it is no more than a three-step process that works and is safe. This fender works very well for both the front and rear wheels, but looks great on the rear. I use it on my mountain bike and it keeps out any type of water, mud or dirt that I might encounter. (I would use this fender on a green, blue, or black track.)
