Pretty easy change - after watching a few YouTube videos it was an easy process. Depending on the model, there are DIFFERENT filters. I highly recommend this if you have bought a used car. My car was serviced at a local BMW workshop by a previous owner who claimed and had receipts for 10 years of service. Unfortunately, many works were not completed, including this one. Replaces the original filter from 07.07.00! 110,000 miles on a car with a 16 year old fuel filter. Poor car. lol I would recommend lifting the machine high enough for good clearance, there are a few screws and bolts on the cover - the filter is hidden in what I think is a small place. It's a little difficult to hold both hands on the lines to remove them, but not too bad. Much luck!
