I have been using mandolins for 20 years. I couldn't believe it for a long time. It is difficult to experiment because of the sharp blade. I couldn't get it into slicing mode with very limited instructions. I got this because of the protective gloves which are much appreciated. It was dangerous to remove the "protective" plastic protector and even more dangerous to put it on, so the protector sounds good but is useless. I think I'll leave it and see how it goes.
