Fixed my wife's car but not for long!

My wife's traverse won't start after filling up, I did a quick google search which led me to this part. The dealer wanted to charge $100 just to look at it plus parts and labor to fix it. 10 minutes and $20 later everything was fixed, now she thinks I'm some kind of mechanic and can fix anything. Update after 8 months: I installed the part in January 2020, it's almost August and the Check Engine lights up. Code P0496, guess what that is? You get it, bad flush valve!
