Firstly this stereo is easy to put in and with the use of the PAC audio interface I still have full steering control, power etc. There were a few tricks to using it this stereo works the way I wanted it to. I describe them for reference for other users: 1) Note that if your car has an amp, you need to go into your stereo sound settings and say there is an amp, otherwise there will be no signal out. . I don't remember the exact menu but it shouldn't be hard to find. 2) At first I encountered poor radio reception - poor FM reception and no AM except for hiss - until I discovered a somewhat hidden tweak to fix the problem. Go to Settings > Vehicle information > About device > HMI. There are two access codes to access this menu. The password 8888 gives you access to a menu that controls various low-level functions. Among other things, make sure the stereo is set to USA (or your country) as the location. Then another item called "Feel" adjusts the sensitivity of the radio. Decreasing this number increases reception, resulting in more stations. If there are a lot of strong signals in your area, a higher number will likely save you from crosstalk between stations. I mentioned the second code for the device menu. Using the keycode 5678 instead of 8888 gives you access to a few other general stereo settings (I don't remember what they were and haven't used them, but you might find them useful). To be honest, I discovered this quite by accident, because I was using a different generic security code from another manufacturer. It just worked! Aside from those small configuration details, the stereo system looks and sounds great. No complaints at all!
