I read about Chinese products and their service and they just blew you away. The buyer must read the instructions before using this product. You will receive the product without any software. You must go online and create an account to download the software onto your device. The instructions are very clear on this. You can't just take it out of the box, go to the car and use it. It only takes a few minutes. It took about half an hour to download, so be patient. On page 5 you need to download the scanning suite. This will allow you to connect to the correct URL to download the software. The only thing I can fault is that before downloading the software onto the device you need a mini USB cable which didn't come with the device. You can purchase one from Best Buy to connect your computer to your scanner. I suggest buying an extension cord to read the device better on your lap along with the "Haynes Techbook obd-II" manual. The book goes into great detail on what can go wrong with a DTC. Otherwise I would recommend this product.
