This thing is rock solid. It's heavy and very well made. It is so heavy that it can be an anchor for a boat. But seriously, it's very thick and easy to use. I bought it for the flat side so I can mash the graham cracker cheesecake crust in a split pan. This tool made it incredibly easy and fast. I was able to get an even crust that held up really well. Martha uses one with her cheesecakes so I bought one and I'm glad I did. Highly recommended.
