Pin them all to the side you want, then move them to the other side while maintaining tension on the divider, then pull the divider toward you, pressing the side against the hooks to secure. Now I know this is just my personal experience, so you might have better luck. It seems to be a very solid kennel and I like the two doors. However, as with other reviewers, the ends of the metal where it is cut are sharp. I think I'll try to archive them a bit. I want them rounded or filed. I ended up sweating profusely, not apologizing to anyone at home for the swearing while being thankful that no one was witnessing the process, and then collapsed onto the sofa. to write this review immediately. :).
