Review on Culligan HF360A - Optimized Standard House Filtration System by Carolina Whipple

We bought this filter pack to replace an almost identical filter that had been in use for around 20 years. I was a little apprehensive about all the reviews mentioning a leak but I bought it anyway based on past experiences. I was wrong! This new block won't stop leaking. The outlet sleeve sealed the first time, but despite several repairs with a thorough cleaning of the threads with a large quantity of good quality thread sealant, water is dripping from the inlet connection. Unfortunately this is just a poorly made product with poor quality control. I will disassemble it and replace it with another device. Wasted time and money - would not recommend this product. A real shame as the 20 year old unit it replaced worked well for years. See attached photo for leaks - a drip every 5 seconds or so, water has accumulated in the sump in just 8 hours.
