I needed a black hasp for a new gate.

I was unable to find a black hasp at the two hardware stores in our town or at the Home Depot where I usually shop. I think it will be perfect for my use. Note It has two extra screws just in case you drop one while installing.

Did the job, moderately sturdy.

Cons

The latch is too small and cannot fit larger doors
