Milwaukee Tools -- You can't go wrong

I bought this to replace a Milwaukee 3/8" bit I previously had. Had to change the brushes (usually a simple job) Unfortunately when I opened it up and had to replace it a lot of small parts jumped out and I was never able to get the trigger working properly again. My old drill press lasted about 18 years I think and would have lasted much longer had I been more careful when making repairs would be "It survived a fall from the top of my ladder onto a concrete floor a few years ago. So why such a long prologue? I really like Milwaukee. It's a contractor's tool. It means it will work no matter how much it is." Also, the collared handle that slides over the chuck is a nice feature, it's easy to put on and take off and really helps stabilize the drill n if you are trying to drill with precision. I'm not sure how the price compares to "homeowner" brand drills (you know which ones I'm talking about). But really, price isn't as important to me as having something that works reliably in every situation. I opted for a regular key chuck (Milwaukee also sells a keyless version of the chuck). I've never used keyless entry so I don't know how reliable it is. Cons: This drill bit is slightly longer (from the end of the handle to the front of the chuck) than my previous one. So it's inconvenient when I'm drilling in a tight spot. You can buy rectangular transducers, although they aren't as convenient as the catalogs make them appear. Also, this drill seems a bit heavier than my previous one.
