Excellent quality claws. I had one of the most plastic kits in recent years. I lost or misplaced them so I decided to buy more. Now the plastic ones were good and working, the tips of the claws softened and bent a little from crushing some roast pork buns. They were strong, but only at the tips did the heat dull and twist them a little. When I replaced them I knew I wanted to use a stainless steel kit to keep the tips sharp. This set appears to be of good quality. I broke them up with the Christmas Prime Rib and used them to flip the roast on the grill and get good browning and some charcoal flavor on the outside of the roast. They can be used to mince meats such as pulled pork or shredded chicken. They are also great for carrying large roasted or large cooked poultry. Finally, you can use them to hold the meat while you cut it. They give you much better control than the old big meat forks. They worked flawlessly, felt good in the hand and could be used with high temperature grill gloves. Excellent purchase. The company also humorously advises men against posing as a clawed glutton in the instruction manual.
