Bulky, thick - which makes for stable and sturdy. However, it doesn't need that as it only widens to a certain size for up to 12 inch pot that a thinner design would accommodate nicely. Instead of returning, I kept it since I had already assembled it, and painful to disassembled - besides, after disassembling it's basically ruined and amazon cannot resell. But now, every time I walk pass them/I look and think = just too bulky and thick.
