I was looking for a trail/hiking shoes that I could wear for walking trails/sidewalk with the dog. I live in MN, so don’t need full boots but need more than a athletic shoe, that can withstand some colder weather elements. I was able to wear out of the box. I have been wearing with some heavier socks, but the fit is great and feet have stayed warm on the walks. They are a little stiffer sole, but feet hold up well 1-3 miles on daily walk. Have not faced water or slick spots yet, but have been really pleased with purchase and would recommend!
